English soprano Nicola Corbishley enjoys a varied performing career as a soloist and ensemble singer. Recently touring the UK as soprano soloist in Theatre Cryptic's acclaimed world premiere staging of David Lang's The Little Match Girl Passion, Nicola also featured as a soloist in the 2017 BBC Radio 4 documentary Bach and his Passion.
She performs as an ensemble soprano with many of the UK's professional groups, including the Gabrieli Consort, Dunedin Consort, Choir of the Enlightenment, The English Concert, The King's Consort, London Handel Singers, BBC Singers, Eric Whitacre Singers and Ludus Baroque, this work taking her across Europe and beyond to perform in some of the world's most prestigious venues.
Nicola regularly appears as an oratorio soloist across the UK, including with the Scottish Chamber Choir in Edinburgh and the City Bach Collective in London. In the recording studio, she has appeared on the soundtracks of many blockbuster movies, including Hercules, Cinderella, Prometheus, Prince of Persia, The Mummy, Arthur Christmas and Shrek; of video games including Fable and RuneScape and as a soloist on the 2018 game release 11:11 Memories Retold.
